I'm a University of Michigan student. Do I apply to SSE through Wolverine Access?
No. Current U of M students should apply directly using the SSE application on this website. SSE will register you for your elected courses.
Are there any funding opportunities available?
Yes - you can view available funding opportunities under Cost & Aid
Can I still enroll in SSE courses if I'm not able to attend all sessions?
Real-time attendance is expected for all SSE courses for the entire duration of the course. Please contact summerepi@umich.edu if you have any scheduling concerns.
Will recordings be posted after class?
Yes - recordings are usually posted within 24 hours and will be accessible via the Canvas site for your course.
How do I access course material for SSE courses?
The SSE uses Canvas for course management for all SSE courses. We will begin adding students to their Canvas courses and contacting participants with further instructions in June.
Is the SSE offering any in-person courses in 2026?
No. All courses for 2026 will be offered online only.
